Nasal Irrigation
for Kids & Adults
SCHNOZZLE
Clear nasal secretions to feel better and breath better. The Schnozzle nasal irrigation adapter makes it easier and safer to flush the nose. It is great for Kids & Adults. Â
The Schnozzle was invented by a Pediatric ER physician to better treat congestion babies when suctioning had failed; but then all the nurses, nurses parents (and even his own kids) wanted to used it too!. Â
Twist the adapter onto any Luer lock syringe and steadily depress the plunder. The positive pressure expands the nasal passages to loosen secretions and debris clearing the nose for air to pass through. The Schnozzle gives you better control over the pressure and volume than other devices. Â

VALUE
Infection
Control
Our Splash shields protect providers from dangerous bodily fluids that would otherwise splatter during the irrigation process. The built-in shields contain the fluids on the field. They allow higher pressures and volumes to be used that would otherwise contaminate a larger area. By reduction the bioburden of infection in nose,, abscess or laceration that body is likely to transmit infections to others. Other infection control devices for are in the works…. Â
Patient
Safety
The ultimate patient safety is providing better care without complications. By making it easier and faster to irrigate clinicians are more likely to begin these procedures and use the volumes and pressures known to be helpful.  For example, the EyeCap provides a simple non-invasive alternative to irrigation lenses.  By providing an immediate low tech eyewash for patients and staff injuries, initial care is faster with less risk of complications to the patient or staff.Â
Improved Productivity
Everyone wants more for less. A simple device like the SplashCap can reduce a 5 minute+ procedure to seconds.  That is a gift the keeps giving. The patient is treated faster, other patients are not waiting as long and more patients are seen in a shorter amount of time by fewer providers. Better efficiency is better for you, your patients, your department and your institution. There is a lot of talk about being more efficient, but we make it easy by giving you better tools to Make “E.R. Happen.Â
Patient Satisfaction
Would you rather come to the doctor for a laceration repair and have tap water rinsed from a grimey hospital sink or have it irrigated with lots of medical grade saline a nifty splash shield device? Would you rather grovel for an antibiotic that won’t work for a viral illness to clear congestion, or have the clinician demonstrate how to flush out your nose with the Schnozzle, so you leave breathing better and continue to use it at home.  Would you rather wait for numbing drops for irrigation lenses that will be inserted under your burning eyelids or would you rather have someone first flush out your eyes with the EyeCap?
Cost Containment
Our products reduce the overall costs of procedures compared to other devices and methods. Savings like this are important for better provide care for fixed reimbursements. Savings is achieved by less costs for equipment, personnel as well as improvements in resource utilization, efficiency and in lengths of stay. Also, by potentially reducing the risk of treatment complications or failures, our products reduce other costly liabilities for bad outcomes or uncompensated care,Â
Antibiotic
Stewardship
A reduction in wound or abscess complications by better dilution and bioburden reduction with wound irrigation will lead to less need for antibiotic usage to treat these types of complications. Also, if a clinician flushes out a patient’s nose and their symptoms improve immediately, there will be less pressure to prescribe an antibiotic that is unlikely to be helpful. By reducing the bioburden in the nose of sicker hospitalized patients, we hypothesize that it will be shown in the future, that that there will be less progression to more complex illness, requiring more prolonged and advanced antibiotic treatment.Â
Â
Evidence Based Practice
Our devices are design to to use common sense principles and techniques to provide better care. We don’t have high priced research consortiums and speakers bureaus to build the data we ask for or tell the story we want told (at least no yet!) Perhaps it is because our devics are so simple and based on common sense principles that no one has bothered to test them? In the meantime, we continue to hear from clinicians, parents and patients that our devices worked for them and each reorder is a different kind of evidence that tells the story we expected, that our products are working to help someone.
Standardization
Of Care
Standardization is useful for providing a reliable way to achieve desired results. Our devices, make it easier for many people to do common procedures, faster, with fewer complications and with minimal training. Standardization of the use of our products via skills training skills days, competency testing, electronic medical record ordering etc. makes it more likely that these benefits will be achieved for you and your patients.Â
